The QB3 MacroLab is a core facility located in UC Berkeley's Stanley Hall and administered by the California Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (QB3). Operating on a recharge basis, the facility offers automated Gene Cloning, Protein Expression, Protein Purification, and Crystallography. Scientists from UC Berkeley, other academic institutions, and industry labs use the QB3 MacroLab to dramatically expand the scope of protein-structure discovery and advance our fundamental understanding of biochemistry.
